Now I really should get back to work.  Just wanted to finally get something up.  Maybe I will keep adding things because it was actually fairly easy.  Push button, add picture...  Who would have thought :)

Start of a New Year and Resolutions!

So 2012 is here and that means it's time for some New Years Resolutions.  

This year I resolve to actively post on my blog ( and actually put some pictures up ).

This year I will quit smoking ( okay well I say that every year but maybe this is the one ).

This year I will spend me time sitting in my little crafty space.

So there you have it.  The list of resolutions.  I figure at least 2 of the 3 can be accomplished.  

Now I am off to figure out how to post pictures on here.  If I manage to get that figured out tonight I will post some of the cards and pages that I have made over the Christmas Holiday.

My FIRST ever craft post

So as it goes I always mean to post pictures of things that I have made but I never get around to it.  To be honest I never really get around to posting anything!  It is something that I am going to have to work on.  So here are the little buckets of Halloween goodies that I made for my co-workers and family.  We don't get trick or treaters at home so this is really the only way I get to give out candy.  So here they are :)

The Beginning of Something

So my challenge to myself was to quit smoking, but in the process I had to find something to do in the evenings while the kidlets were tucked into bed.  I had all the beginnings for scrapbooking but for some reason never really did anything with it.  So in a moment of desperation I dug all the stuff out of the storage room, where it ended up after the flood in the basement, claimed a space to all my own and sorted everything out.  Now I'm not really an artsy person, and well creativity and I are not good friends, but I figured I would give it a shot.  There has got to be things out there to show me how to do this.  There are how-to's for everything now-a-days.  So This will be my journey into scrapbooking and card making.  We will see if anyone follows me or I am just one of the blogs that no one reads that is always updated.

Wish me Luck! And we will see how long the not smoking lasts!
